Zoning Permits vs. Building Permits
Zoning permits are permits issued for the "use" of the property. Building permits are for the "construction" of the structure. All Croix Inspections is a building inspection agency meaning that we issue permits for the construction of the structure. It is the applicants' responsibility to secure any needed zoning permits before applying for a building permit. If you are unsure who administers the zoning ordinances for your property, click here.

The municipality you are building in dictates who your building inspector is, what types of building permits are needed, what types of restrictions must be adhered to, and what fees will be associated with your building application. All Croix Inspections, Corp. performs inspections in both Pierce County and St. Croix County.
The municipality in which the project is located may not be the same as the mailing address.

If you are unsure what City, Village, or Township that you are building in, you can find that information on the County's GIS portal.
